agenda communication was founded in May 2004 by Alison Henshaw (then Alison Jones!) and Heather Pritchett. For seven years previously, they had worked together as employee communications consultants for a global advertising and communications business with clients in both the private and public sectors.
As company directors, they have a unique combination of experience: Alison started her working life in arts and cultural development, moving into employee development and later employee communications and consultancy.
Heather's background is in journalism – writing and editing first local and later business and corporate publications. An interest in research led her to employee communications consultancy.
Both Alison and Heather have more than 30 years experience in project management, facilitation, research, writing and editing and have excellent partnerships with associates to provide translation, design and web development.
As well as her work with agenda, Alison is a trustee of Gladstone's Library, the UK's only Prime Ministerial library, founded by the great Victorian statesman himself. She is also on the board of Citizen's Advice Denbighshire.
Heather's was once the youngest newspaper editor in the country when she took over the helm at the Oldham Advertiser at the age of 24. Aside from words, her passions are travel and food - she has cooked for food critic Charles Campion of Masterchef fame and featured in one of his books.
